Michele O’Brien has been teaching in Indigenous Studies for 20 years. She likes to create opportunities to enhance teaching practices within the programs, like this one, to coordinate the introduction of Virtual Realty to teach Anishnaabemowin. Innovative in teaching practices for our next GEN is the key!
Angeline King graduated with honours from the Anishnaabemowin and Program Development in 2016. After graduating, she taught Anishnaabemowin at a public school in Scarborough. Very happy to say we offered her a position she could not refuse! Angie is currently attending Lakehead’s Indigenous Language’s Instructor’s program.
